Brennan Potts serves as CEO of Accelerate Real Asset Management and its divisions, Activate Renewables and Accelerate Resources. Mr. Potts creates and executes strategy, generates new opportunities, manages industry and investor relationships, and oversees investment decision-making. Over his career, Mr. Potts has executed more than 350 land and real estate transactions across approximately 8.4 billion square feet of real property rights in the energy and infrastructure markets, backed by a combined $1.1+ billion of commitments from leading institutional investors.
Prior to founding Accelerate in 2015, Mr. Potts specialized in business development and acquisitions as a Co-founder and Managing Director of Titanium Exploration Partners and served as Vice President of Valor Petroleum. Mr. Potts has been nationally recognized for the businesses he builds and was previously named to Forbes 30 Under 30 (2014), Oil and Gas Investor’s 30 Under 40 (2017), was a finalist for EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year Southwest (2021), and led Accelerate Resources to the Inc. 5000 list (2021). He holds a BBA in real estate from Baylor University and serves on the boards of each of Accelerate’s divisions, as well as Neverthirst, a global clean water nonprofit organization.
Maria Klutey serves as President of Activate Renewables, where she provides day-to-day oversight of operations, including leading sales activities for both landowner and developer transactions. Ms. Klutey has been investing in renewable energy real estate since 2010. She was the CFO of American Wind Capital, the first company to focus on monetizing royalties from wind and solar renewable energy projects. She subsequently worked with multiple funding partners, including Everest Infrastructure Partners and, most recently, Landmark Dividend. Previously she spent 12 years at GE Capital, first in finance, operations, quality, and origination before joining the newly formed Renewable Finance group, which provided project equity and tax equity to renewable projects. Prior to joining GE Capital, she served six years of active duty in the U.S. Army. Ms. Klutey holds a B.A. from Princeton University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
Chief Investment Officer
Mr. Castillo leads strategic planning, research and investment analysis, financial modeling, risk management, and assists with capital markets activities for Accelerate Real Asset Management and its infrastructure divisions. He brings 21 years of asset-based lending and investment experience across a wide range of real asset industries such as telecommunications, renewable energy, mining, infrastructure, real estate, and aircraft leasing. Before joining Accelerate, Mr. Castillo was Vice President of Acquisitions for Landmark Dividend, where he analyzed more than $500 million of opportunities for the New Markets & Renewables team and co-developed Landmark Vertex, a joint venture with Ericsson to deploy small-cell 5G infrastructure across North America.
Prior to Landmark, Mr. Castillo served as Vice President of Talos Partners and Quantek Asset Management. Mr. Castillo began his career as a research analyst on Wall Street for HSBC, Santander, and Goldman Sachs. He holds a B.S. in hotel administration from Cornell University.
Director of Land
Jordan Bradley serves as Director of Land for Activate Renewables, where he oversees business development and sales operations, with an emphasis on landowner outreach. Mr. Bradley has 10 years of experience in the energy industry. Prior to joining Activate, he served in business development for its sister company, Accelerate Resources, which makes fractional investments in climate-conscious oil and gas wells in the Permian Basin. Previously he co-founded Lineage Energy Investment, Inc. after a two-year career with Amegy Bank’s energy lending division. Mr. Bradley earned his B.A. in finance from Baylor University.
Danielle Steele serves as an Acquisition Specialist for Activate Renewables, with a focus on outreach to landowners across the United States. Ms. Steele has more than 10 years of experience in business management in the fields of rental property real estate, financial advisement, actuary, underwriting, and a background in law.
Prior to joining Activate, she served in several sales and marketing roles and has also been a licensed life and health insurance professional for more than 20 years. She has received several awards, including Employee of the Month, a Sales Performance Excellence MVP Award, an Individual Market Outstanding Sales Contribution Award, and a Team Performance Award. She is also very active in civic roles, most notably serving as the keynote encouragement speaker at the Governor’s Maryland Statewide Memorial Services for Crime Victims and Their Families. Additionally, she advocated, lobbied, and obtained sponsorship from four Maryland State Senators and testified before the Annapolis Senate House Committee in favor of Senate Bill 572.
Ms. Steele studied business administration and law at Mergenthaler Tech and completed Insurance Opportunity Unlimited/CAPE education for her insurance licenses.
Chief Technology Officer
Isaiah Cisneroz leads the implementation and administration of all aspects of technology, mapping, systems, cybersecurity, and IT functions for Accelerate Real Asset Management and its divisions, Activate Renewables, and Accelerate Resources. He also serves as the company-wide Salesforce Administrator and supports and maintains all existing software applications and the development of new technical solutions with external vendors and internal teams.
Prior to joining Accelerate as its first employee in 2016, Mr. Cisneroz served as a business and data analyst at ConocoPhillips. Previously, he was a software engineer for the COMPASS SAP Global IT team at Hewlett-Packard, where he also worked within the company’s larger ITSS UAD organization by contributing to the capture of synergies and implementation of best practices. Mr. Cisneroz earned a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Baylor University.
Chief Communications Officer
Gayle Goodman leads marketing, external and internal communications, public relations and investor relations for Accelerate Real Asset Management and its divisions, Activate Renewables and Accelerate Resources. For 13 years prior to joining Accelerate, Ms. Goodman owned Pro-Activation, LLC, a marketing communications consultancy that served B2B clients in a wide variety of industries, including several renewable and traditional energy brands.
Prior to launching her consultancy, Ms. Goodman was Vice President of Marketing for Efficient Attic Systems and previously served in a number of marketing and communications roles for Centex Corporation over an 11-year period. She earned her MBA in marketing from the University of Dallas, where she taught as an adjunct instructor for seven years. She also holds a B.S. in broadcast journalism from Texas Christian University and is IABC Accredited (ABC).
